Bio:

Dr. Husam Maglad, a Sudanese national, has embarked on an inspiring journey marked by diverse experiences and a commitment to excellence. As a recipient of a Turkish scholarship in 2015, he ventured abroad to Türkiye, where he pursued his medical education at Ege University Faculty of Medicine, ultimately graduating with distinction in 2022.

Dr. Maglad's drive for continuous growth led him to an enriching Erasmus exchange semester at Aarhus University Faculty of Health in Denmark in the spring of 2021, where he delved into the intricacies of obstetrics, gynecology and pediatrics.

His dedication to academic excellence shone brightly as he graduated in the top 2.5% of his class. His exceptional achievements were celebrated on a grand scale, as he was one of only 14 international students out of more than 2500 graduates to be awarded during the prestigious Turkish Scholarship Graduation Ceremony in 2022.

Now based in Düzce, Türkiye, Dr. Maglad serves as a Team Doctor at the Turkish Red Crescent Blood Bank. His role not only reflects his medical expertise, but also his dedication to serving the community through life-saving initiatives.

With the accomplishment of passing the USMLE Step 1 exam, Dr. Maglad is on a determined path toward becoming an Interventional Radiologist. His aspirations reflect his commitment to innovation, patient-centered care, and making a lasting impact on healthcare.

Outside the medical realm, Dr. Maglad finds solace and joy on the football field, where he embraces the spirit of teamwork and competition. He's also an avid cyclist, taking to the open roads as a means of finding balance and serenity.

Redwan Alotmy, MD

Dr. Redwan Alotmy is a 26-year-old Yemeni doctor whose journey has been nothing short of remarkable. His story began at 18, as a high school student in Yemen. He distinguished himself by achieving one of the country's highest scores in the final exam. Just a year later, he was selected by Türkiye Scholarships to pursue medical studies at Ege University's Faculty of Medicine, from which he graduated in 2022.

Driven by a desire to help those in dire straits, he joined the Sıhhat Project 2. The primary objective of this initiative is to provide much-needed medical assistance to refugees in Turkey.

Today, Dr. Alotmy resides in Artvin, Turkey, and serves as a team doctor at the Turkish Red Crescent Blood Bank. His role not only underscores his leadership skills but also highlights his unwavering commitment to the community he serves.

Beyond his medical pursuits, Dr. Alotmy has a keen interest in bodybuilding sports, video games and reading.
